Common Questions

What people ask before getting started

How is 10in6 priced?

Per asset. The cost of each one depends on the type of machine and the modules it needs, so pricing follows a free 30–60 minute call where one of our engineers learns about your equipment and what you want to achieve.

How long does implementation take?

A first line typically goes live in two to four weeks, and larger rollouts in four to eight. We work alongside your team and fit the system to your existing processes, one line at a time, so production keeps running.

Do we need to replace our existing equipment or ERP?

No. 10in6 connects to your existing PLCs, equipment, and ERP systems. We work with what you already have.

What if our operators aren't technical?

The Operator Console is built for the shop floor: a simple touch screen that shows each role only the buttons it needs. We've deployed it successfully in plants where operators have no computer background.

Will we have to pay every time we want to change something?

No. Once 10in6 is set up, your own team manages the day-to-day: operators, downtime and scrap codes, products and targets, shift schedules, scheduled checks, alerts, emailed reports and real-time boards (using the board builder). Showing your team how is part of go-live. Connecting new machines, adding modules or anything else that needs extra licensing, and custom reports come through 10in6. If you'd rather we made everyday changes for you, we can do that as a service, but you don't have to. Stackpole completed 75% of its rollout itself after training on a small set of checks.

What does "Software with Service" mean?

It means we stay involved for the lifetime of the software. We configure the system for go-live, then keep refining and supporting it as your lines, products and processes change.
